Jose Iglesias with a walk-off RBI double in Baltimore’s 8-7 victory over the Blue Jays.  Ryan Mountastle chips in with a bases loaded triple.

Kansas City continues to trend downward as they get shut out by a score of 5-0 at the hands of Cleveland.  Carlos Santana with his 7th home run and Logan Allen whiffs 10 over the first 6 1/3 to pick up win number 1 this season.

Oakland gets a run across the plate in the 10th to beat the Rangers 7-6.   Willie Calhoun with his 11th and Elvis Andrus with his 4th in the loss.  Khris Davis 1-3 and a HBP to get his average back up to .280.

Minnesota pounds the White Sox today by a score of 15-3.  Jorge Polanco (6, 7) and Miguel Sano (17, 18) combine to go 7-10 with 4 home runs and 10 RBI.  Homer Bailey gives up 2 runs over 7 innings to move his record to 7–3.

Houston home again and magically comes up with an RBI single in the bottom of the 16th to top the Red Sox 4-3.  George Springer hits his 15th in the win and JD Martinez his 11th in the loss.

The Yankees woes continue as they get shut out by the Angels today 7-0.  Julio Teheran fans 9 over 7 1/3 to move to 5-3.  James Paxson leaves after 2 2/3 of scoreless ball with a blister on his finger.

Ronald Acuna Jr. enjoys a little interleague play as he hits his 11th, a 3-run shot, in Atlanta’s 5-3 victory over the Mariners.

Chicago beats the Reds 7-2.  Kyle Schwarber hits his 8th and Kris Bryant his 11th while both batters have 3 RBI.

Eric Thames and Starlin Castro both had 3-4 days as the Nationals come out victorious against the Phillies 7-2.  Didi Gregorius with his 9th in the loss.  Stephen Strasburg moving to 5-0 giving up 2 runs over 6 1/3 while Aaron Nola with the first blemish on his record at 6-1.

Pittsburgh decides they don’t want to go into extra innings so they score 4 runs in the 9th to beat St. Louis 5-2.  Erik Gonzalez 3-4 with his 3rd home run for the Bucs.

Starling Marte perfect at the plate today going 2-2 with 2 walks, 2 home runs, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored.  He also commits his 1st error of the year and was caught stealing for the 5th time.  Way to get some box score ink, Starling!  Arizona beats the Tigers 9-8.

Fernando Tatis Jr. was the hero in San Diego’s 5-4 victory over Miami in 16 innings.  Tatis was 4-7 with his 9th and 10th home runs, including the big one in the 16th.

I sure hope no Rockies fans are following this simulation.  They are currently the worst team in the majors as they lose 2-1 to the Giants today and are now 17-39 on the year.  Mike Yastrzemski with an RBI double and Buster Posey an RBI single for San Francisco and Trevor Cahill gives up 1 unearned run through 7 innings to pick up his 2nd win.

Dodgers/Mets game was postponed due to bad weather and will be made up tomorrow.

Transactionally speaking:

The Cubs put Jose Quintana on the 15-day IL with “wrist soreness.”  hey, Jose, get a woman;

The Twins put Josh Donaldson on the 10-day IL with a sore back;

The Red Sox put Andrew Benintendi on the 10-day IL with back stiffness and also release former Rule 5 selection, Jonathan Arauz;

The Rangers put Joey Gallo on the 10-day IL with a fractured wrist…he could miss 4 weeks; and

Seattle activates Tijuan Walker.
