Tampa keeps the Yankees brooms away as the Rays beat New York today 5-3. Kevin Kiermaier hits his 6th and Charlie Morton fans 11 over 7 innings giving up 3 runs to bring his record to 2-3.
Rougned Odor hits double digits with his 10th home run in Texas’ 11-2 trouncing of the Blue Jays. Matt Shoemaker drops to 1-7 and sees his ERA top 8.00. Cut bait Toronto!
Houston slaps the Royals around by a score of 11-1. George Springer with his 11th and Jose Altuve with his 12th of the year. Zack Greinke keeps his fine season moving along. He goes 6 1/3 today giving up just one run to see his ERA settle at 2.74. He’s now 4-1 on the year.
Mike Trout can’t stay out of the highlights lately. He goes 2-4 with a home run and 4 RBI in the Angels’ 11-4 win over the Nationals.
Tom Murphy goes yard in back to back games and Kyle Seager manages a 4-6 day with 2 RBI. I’m not sure Seager ever had 4 hits in a season when he was in my fantasy lineup. The Mariners pick this one up over the A’s 6-5. Khris Davis, 0-5…IT’S HAAAAPENIIIINNNG!
Eugenio Suarez 2-4 with a couple of doubles and 2 RBI in Cincinnati’s 4-3 victory over the Marlins. Jorge Alfaro breaks his foot courtesy of a Luis Castillo pitch and is expected to miss 4 weeks.
Yadier Molina gets milestone hit number 2,000 in the Cardinals’ 7-3 victory over the Pirates. Some people say Molina is a shoo in hall of famer…His career numbers are .282, 158 home runs, 933 RBI, 711 runs scored to go along with 9 all-star appearances, 9 gold gloves, 1 silver slugger award and a two-time top 5 MVP candidate. What say you, my faithful followers? Yay or nay on Molina being a hall of famer?

Alex Colome gives up not 1, but 2 home runs in the bottom of the 9th as the Padres come from behind to beat the White Sox 6-5. Brian Dozier and Wil Myers doing the damage in the 9th.
Mookie Betts joins the 5-hit club as he raps 4 singles and a double to go along with 4 RBI as the Dodgers beat up on the Phillies 14-2. Cody Bellinger moves back into the home run lead as he crushes 2 more today to give him 4 in the past 2 games and 16 overall.
The Braves smoke the Red Sox today 13-2. Ozzie Albies 2-5 with his 8th homer leading the way for Atlanta. Bryse Wilson winning his 3rd straight, striking out 9 through 7 1/3 and giving up a home run to Alex Verdugo. Nathan Eovaldi with the horrid start, giving up 7 earned in just 1 1/3 innings of work. His ERA jumps from 5.33 to 6.34.
Mike Yastrzemski hits his first home run of the season and Brandon Belt adds his 3rd to go with 4 RBI as the Giants send the Rockies packing 11-4.
