Leading off the April 15th card we have the Red Sox falling again to the A’s. This time by a score of 6-5. Marcus Semien goes 4 for 5 with an RBI in this one.
The Yankees get the best of the Rangers 4-2. Masahiro Tanaka pitches 7 1/3 giving up 2 runs and fanning 6. Joey Gallo brings a bottle of Kahlua to the game for his special sombrero.
Jonathan Schoop keeps up the power by stroking his 6th over the fence. That 3-run shot was more than enough to put the Tigers away 4-1. Casey Mize winning his first in the bigs.
The Cubs forgot to show up today. Their lone hit coming off the bat of Kyle Schwarber. John Means pitched the first 6 1/3 of this one as the O’s beat the Cubs 7-0.
The Twins put up two touchdowns and a field goal as the Blue Jays can only score a safety. Every Minnesota batter had at least 1 hit while Willians Astudillo was the lone Twin batter without an RBI. Jorge Polanco with 5 RBI on the day.
Tampa Bay scores 4 in the 9th, but it wasn’t enough to beat Houston. Tampa drops this one 7-6. Jose Martinez led off the 9th with a solo shot followed by Willy Adames’ 3-run blast, but the rally ended there.
The Royals walk off in the 10th as they beat the White Sox 5-4. Big news in this one was Luis Robert hitting his first career home run.
Mike Trout flexes his muscle in an Angels 6-3 victory over the Marlins. Trout goes 3 for 5 with his 5th bomb and 3 RBI.
The Reds beat up on the Giants 7-3. Akiyama and Freddy Galvis going yard in this one. Trevor Bauer improving to 2 and 0 on for the year.
The Braves take out the Mets by a score of 5-2. Ronald Acuna hits his 6th of the season and Kyle Wright pitches 6 1/3 giving up 2 unearned runs.
Keston Hiura goes 2 for 4 with his 6th home run as the Brewers beat the Phils 3-1. Adrian Houser picking up his second win.
The Pirates score 2 in the top of the 9th and Arizona couldn’t match it. This one ends 7-6. Bryan Reynolds helping out with his 3rd long ball.
Zach Davies pitches 7 1/3 giving up 2 with 8 K’s to move to 3 and 0 as the Padres beat the Rockies 3-2.
Joc Pederson is creeping up on the home run list. He knocks 2 more out today and drives in 4 as the Dodgers come out with a win 10-7 over the Cardinals.
