Another week of the NFL flies by the devoted fans and the coin made some headway. Before we begin, I just want to throw out there that our graph from last week inadvertently omitted the Monday night game. I assure you that the coin was flipped prior to the game and the result was in the positive for both flips. That being said, picking outright winners, the coin went 9-6, furthering our positive season tally to 95-79-2. Keep in mind that there have been two ties this year and obviously that’s where the extra two comes in. Going against the spread, the coin also went 9-6 for the week. Oddly enough, only 4 of the 9 were from the same games won in the outright flip, thus lending credence to the 50/50 rule. Anyways, that brings our season total against the spread to a semi-respectable 81-88-7. We’re getting there!
Week 13 coin flips are indicated in the chart below. For anyone reading this for the first time, the coin is flipped twice for each game. One to determine an outright winner and one to determine a winner against the spread. A flip of heads gives the pick to the home team and a flip of tails is a pick for the away team.

Come back next week to see the latest installment to what is hopefully a steady rise to the .500 level.
