So here comes something from the strange and unusual pile. If you have a spare 10 minutes or so, check out the story above.
Now everyone that gets married nowadays has a gift registry set up so that rather than getting a whole bunch of gifts they don’t want or don’t need, they have a way to provide guests what they need/want. I guess my question is, where do you draw the line?
I was a guest at a destination wedding not too long ago. It wasn’t cheap, but it was an event that I couldn’t miss. I feel that ponying up the cash to get an international flight and a week long hotel was gift enough. Acceptable? Does that make me cheap? Perhaps. I wonder what this chick would have to say about it. Imagine asking every guest to come up with $1,500 so you can have your dream wedding? I just don’t understand all the backlash lol. C’mon lady, really? The sense of entitlement nowadays is crazy!
Needless to say, the couple aren’t together anymore, but why doesn’t she get to go to South America for two months? I assume the guy has the kid. Ummmm hello sweetheart, you abandoned your child for two months so you can go pack-packing?
The moral to this story is, trash is trash is trash.
